Where to Eat at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS)
Back again for the summer travel season, it’s the Eater Boston guide to dining at Boston’s Logan International Airport. The best meal of your life probably won’t be at Logan, but the airport has been undergoing somewhat of a dining renaissance lately, bringing in outposts of local icons (hello, Santarpio’s) and increasing the number of serviceable restaurants and kiosks within its walls. Most that had been temporarily closed due to the pandemic are back open. You can always find the most up-to-date information on the airport’s own website.

First, here are a few overall highlights within the airport:
- Berkshire Farms Market: This one’s a grab-and-go spot, but it’s a good one, featuring all sorts of locally made products from Massachusetts, with a focus on the western part of the state. You may also find Boston-area goodies like breakfast pastries from South End Buttery, for example. And it’s a good opportunity to pick up some last-minute local treats to gift to those out-of-town friends you’re on your way to visit. [Two locations: post-security, gate A6; post-security, gate B20]
- Boston Public Market: This mini version of downtown Boston’s public market includes several local vendors selling bagels, juice, seafood, and more, all highlighting ingredients sourced from New England. [Post-security, gate C27]
- Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse: This outpost of the Boston-based steakhouse chain opens at 5 a.m. for breakfast every day. At lunch (starting at 10:30 a.m.) and dinner, there’s plenty of steak, as well as seafood and pasta. [Post-security, gate C25]
- Kelly’s Roast Beef: This classic chain specializes in North Shore-style roast beef sandwiches. There’s grab-and-go options available, as well as some seating. [Post-security, gates B5 and B29]
- Legal Sea Foods: You’re never very far from a Legal in Logan, and the many permutations of the chain are all reliable choices for raw bar, lobster, fish and chips, and so forth. [Post-security, gates B8, B26, C12, and E9.]
- Lucca: An Italian restaurant with a location in Boston’s North End, as well as in Rockland. The Logan location of Lucca is open from 7 a.m. until 30 minutes prior to the last departure. [Post-security, gate B15]
- Monica’s Mercato: The North End’s best sandwich shop. The airport location is currently open for lunch and dinner. [Post-security, gate E7]
- Otto: With locations around Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, this pizza chain is always reliable. This location currently opens at 10:30 a.m. [Post-security, gate B29]
- Shojo: This popular spot from Boston’s Chinatown is now open at the airport, serving some of the original location’s favorites (including Shojonator burgers), as well as grab-and-go meals meant to travel well (like dumplings and congee), and there’s a full bar. [Post-security, gate C19]
- Santarpio’s: A slick new outpost of the East Boston pizza legend. [Post-security, gate C21]
- Trade: This is an offshoot of chef Jody Adams’s downtown Mediterranean-inspired restaurant. On the airport location’s menu, you might find dishes such as flatbreads, spanakopita cigars, steak frites, and more; it’s currently open for lunch and dinner. [Post-security, gate B29]

Gates 13-22 are in the Terminal A Satellite.
- Alta Strada — From Boston and D.C. restaurateur Michael Schlow, this location of Alta Strada has full-service and grab-and-go Italian options, as well as a burger and a couple sandwiches. [Post-security, gate A9]

- B.Good — Burgers, salads, and more from a locally based international chain. Opens at 4:30 a.m. [Post-security, gate A6]
- Boston Bruins Bar — This sports bar is (obviously) hockey-themed, and it serves sandwiches, salads, and more. It has a full bar. [Post-security, gate A15]
- Currito — “The cure for the common burrito.” [Post-security, satellite concourse entrance]
- Dunkin’ — You know what this one is. Two locations are currently open in Terminal A; find more in B and C. [Pre-security, terminal A baggage claim; post-security, gate A9]
- Friendly’s — The SuperMelts and ice cream sundaes of your childhood — and one of only a few left in the Boston area. [Post-security, satellite concourse entrance]
- Harpoon Tap Room — Boston-based brewery with pub grub and, you guessed it, plenty of beer. [Post-security, gate A21]
- Sbarro — Italian-ish. [Post-security, satellite concourse entrance]
- Starbucks — Coffee and such. [Post-security, satellite concourse entrance]
Terminal B has four main sections, with gates B4-15 together, B16-28 together, B29-36 together, and B37-40 together. Departing from gate B1, 2, or 3? Eat before you go through security; those gates have a separate security line and minimal options once you’re through.

- Peet’s Coffee & Tea — Opens at 4:30 a.m. [Post-security, gate B25]
- Pei Wei — Grab-and-go Asian-inspired food. Currently closed on Saturdays. [Post-security, gate B14]
- Potbelly Sandwich Shop — This Chicago-based chain serves cookies, shakes, and salads in addition to the restaurant’s best-known item: toasted sandwiches. Though it’s a sandwich chain in an airport, it gets the job done. Currently opens at 5 a.m. [Post-security, gate B5]

- Tico — An offshoot of Michael Schlow’s Latin American-inspired restaurant in D.C. [Post-security, gate B37]
