Flavor of Chicago Returns To Grant Park This Weekend With Foodstuff And Free Performances From Nelly, Generate-By Truckers
DOWNTOWN — Flavor of Chicago is returning to Grant Park’s Buckingham Fountain Plaza this weekend right after a two-yr hiatus due to the pandemic.
Dozens of meals vendors, SummerDance courses and interactive spouse and children activities will be offered 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday-Sunday all-around Buckingham Fountain plaza. There will be a beer hall, wine tent and cocktail lounge, along with no cost admission to dwell performances by artists Nelly, Area H, Girl K, Push-By Truckers and Sadie Woods.
The party will mark the return of a single of Chicago’s signature functions. The fest was held with virtual cooking demos in 2020 following COVID-19 strike in 2021, a modified, significantly smaller model of the fest was held with community occasions.
The Flavor slashed charges and stopped using tickets — between other variations — to bring in companies to participate.
